Gift basket give-away!

This time we are giving away a basket full of pampering goodies as a thank-you to all of our readers! Each of our blog readers has contributed something special, and this basket is full to overflowing with fun items!

Check it out:

  • "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young, a book of daily devotions.
  • Burt's Bees Hands and Feet kit containing a pumice stone, cuticle creme, small tins of hand creme, lip balm and a tube of foot lotion
  • Manicure set, including nail brush, clippers, metal file, cuticle pusher, tweezers and mini emery boards.
  •  4 oz.Vanilla Caramel scented candle (which smells AMAZING. I keep opening it to take a whiff as I type this up!)
  •  A bar of Kirk's Original Coco Castile body soap.
  •  Sheer Mauve Revlon nail polish.
  • Apple Cinnamon soap bar.
  •  Hand-made bracelet by ThinkVictorian (thinkvictorian.etsy.com yes, I'm taking this moment to shamelessly give my own store a shout-out ;-P )
  • The basket itself... embellished with bead bangles.
  • White exfoliating gloves.
  • Lavender Blosson bath gel.
Is that everything??? *digs through basket* Well, I'll throw in some tissue paper and red
crinkly basket filler for no extra charge. Now, how does this work?

To enter, just leave us a comment! Tell us how you think we are doing with the blog, what you like/dislike about it, what kinds of things you like to see in future posts, or any questions you might have for us. Now, you are only allowed to enter once, unless you give us a shout-out on your own blog/LJ. Link back in another comment, and your name will be entered twice. I was going to say that for a third chance just drop me a check for $5 in the mail, but then my concience got to me. Maybe next time.

You have until next Friday to enter. The winner will be announced one week from today.

What I like about this blog is that it's a place where I can come knowing that you all (more or less) agree with what I believe, and there is always something new and encouraging.
I also love these give aways! They are so much fun:D
I bet (even though I don't bet:P) you'll get allot of comments on this post:D

Enter me please? You girls know that I love the blog. I'm not on blogger a lot and I hardly ever sign in so that's why I don't always comment. But I DO read it and I think you're doing a great job. The new design is beautiful and I enjoy the encouraging posts. I really like the recipes, Dr. Jak's fashion tips and when you share things about your life that make you stop and think. :-)

I like your blog because you give God centered advice to everyday, day by day, trials and situations that come into our lives. You are always a joy to read, each one of you has a different writing style and it's enjoyable to stop by!

I would like to see continued focus on God, drawing us back to His word and helping us re-focus our eyes on Him! Thanks girls!

I also liked to your blog from mine. :)

This is my first time, but I love the blog. Especially the recipes.

You know - this really isn't to get the basket. (although it looks great). I just ran across this when a blog that I was following on my reader linked your site.
What's funny - is that this past week has been a time that I've spent more time thinking about dating and courtship. My family has decided to go with the courtship method - thus saving the drama for me. I used to shudder at the idea, and my closest friend and cousin still thinks that by what we are doing I am missing out by not finding someone for myself and "dating".
I'm eighteen - and soon after we encountered the courtship idea in person, I turned sixteen - thus having the "talk" about whether or not I wanted to take this path. I said yes (of course!!) and do not regret it.
Anyways.... that was really long and rambling, but I'm sooo glad that I found this blog. I'll definatly be keeping an eye on it! :)

I like how you cover a wide range of subjects, recipes, thoughts on dating/courtship, fashion tips, poems, and inspiring thoughts- all in Godly perspective!

ooh! yay!

I really like how you cover such a wide number of subjects -- I don't date, I never will date, but at this point dating doesn't really matter to me.
But I still come here, because I know I'll find encouraging posts on topics that I do struggle with in my life. (and, of course, the awesome recipes!)

So kudos, for making it interesting and thought provoking for even 15 year-old me!

Oh, a give-a-way! :) I just wanted to say that even though I don't get on here all that often, the IDD blog has been such an encouragement to me. I really appreciate that you girls are so real, and don't mind sharing with us what's on your heart. I always come away encouraged and challenged to live more the way I should. Thank you for the time you all put into doing this...I know it takes a lot of time to keep up a blog, but don't stop!!
I think that the main focus of the blog should stay the same...sorry I don't have any real suggestions! :) Just keep on doing what you are doing!!! Because of Him, Katie

You girls are doing an awesome job and it's so sweet of you to do this give-away!!! I posted a link on my own blog, not just so that I could be entered twice for the amazing looking gift basket, but because I'd like to spread the word around about this great blog! Keep up the great work girls!!! Thanks!!!

Woah, buddy! That basket looks awesome! Enter me, please! I love the clean, new layout. {At least it's new to me.} I also like the fashion advice from Dr. Jak. Helpful computer advice is always a ++ in today's society, too.

I love the recipes too, they are great! And I would love to win the gift basket. :-)

Cowgirl_E November 13, 2009 at 2:03 PM

I also love that you cover a wide range of topics...your blog isn't constantly talking about dating or not dating, but about lots of things relating to life!

And of course I love Dr. Jak's fashion tips too. I would love to see more of those Becca!!

Melanie November 13, 2009 at 5:19 PM
