per favore entrarmi nel disegno is the Italian phrase for "Please enter me into the drawing."....at least, I think it is.

Thoughts on the blog? I like it, but I think I'm still too young to fully appreciate it. I'm not wanting to get married, so in that way I'm too young for this blog, but I am wanting to follow Christ, so I appreciate the John Piper quotes and such.
And I'm DEFINITELY not too young to enjoy chocolate, recipes, tea, and scarfs, since I love them all!

Oooh! Ooh! Please enter me into the drawing! =P And I posted you guys on my FB, and will post you on my beyond ordinary blog. =)

I love reading the blog, by the way. You guys do so good.

"Commodo penetro mihi in tractus"

That's how you say it in Latin.

Like Merrill I am a little young to think about marriage, but I don't date, so I guess I'm eligible to be an IDD PERSON :-)

I love the recipes on here, and the humor, but I think my favorite posts are the book ones, especially the book recommendation.

*Goes to post this on her blog.*

Ana November 18, 2008 at 1:31 PM

Ooooo, how fun!! Please do enter my name in your drawing. :) I would love to participate.

I do read your blog regularly, I love your God-ward focus. You are always an encouragement to me in my spiritual walk, in my struggles, in my battles, you have such an identifiable feel about your blog and posts. Thank you for encouraging us in the Lord!! Because, not matter how wonderful your blog it, it would be nothing if it weren't for the Lord! Thank you!!

Just wanted to let you know I did leave a link to you on my blog. Now I can be in the drawing twice! Wahoo. Thank you.

Please enter me into the drawing. I love your site and have no ideas to make it better!

Moriah A. November 18, 2008 at 2:49 PM

por favor entre en mí en el dibujo(please enter me into the drawing) I saw that Merrill and Lydia did their entree in a foreign language, and because I am learning to speak Spanish mine is in Spanish:)
Okay well I enjoy reading this blog because not only do you get great fashion tips and wonderful recipes, and even though I am only 14 and certainly not being old enough to date that, in the future when I need advice and such I will remember the articles and other things that I read here! And that is why I like reading this blog.
BTW: I posted a link on my blog for this!

What a fun giveaway! I'd love to host one on my blog, and need to come up with ideas for what the prize should be. A tea basket is a wonderful thought! :)

Ashley November 18, 2008 at 8:10 PM

Thank you gor a great giveaway! Please enter me into the drawing!

I stumbled upon your blog from the S&S message forum. I am only 15, but I am sure I will enjoy reading anyways, as I DO NOT want to date.

I love the blog. You all are so real, true to life. When I read the posts I am encouraged by your truthfulness, not discouraged that I am not perfect like you all! :)

How perfectly lovely!

Please enter me into your drawing!!!

I absolutely, throroughly enjoy this blog - such a delight and encouragement. Thanks for your work!

please enter me in the drawing...

My question: How young are you cuties? LOL

LOVE that you are Christians!

kalipay November 19, 2008 at 10:40 AM

Palihug iapil ko sa pagpili... That is Cebuano for "please enter me in the picking/drawing". I grew up a missionary kid in the Philippines. :)

I like the randomness of the blog: it isn't all about relationships, or all about family, but rather scattered. How are you girls "advertising" or getting this blog name out to more people? I saw you were linked on YLCF a bit ago, which was great.

Kalipay, We aren't really doing much advertising. YLCF has graciously posted 2 of our articles which has been a blessing. Otherwise we are just doing word of mouth and blog links. So if anyone who wants to link to us, we would greatly appreciate it!

We range in ages from 20-26.

Please enter me in the drawing! :-)

I have finally broken down and signed up for a blogger account. I think it will help me keep up more with your posts instead of searching in my very disorganized favorite places! Plus, I will now be able to leave comments! YAY!

Anyway, I love the blog - you girls are amazing. You write very encouraging and timely things! Keep up the good work!

I will give a shout out on my new blogger and on my LJ so please enter me again!

*hugs*

Hi,
I applaud your commitment to not dating. It's not easy in this day and age, believe me I know. Dearest hubby and I raised two lovely daughters that are now married to Godly men. One is a minister and the other a missionary. Our girls didn't "date" either.

I would LOVE to win this contest. I collect teacups and would like to have one from you. Thank you.

You are inspiring.

Please enter me in the drawing! I'm going to echo a previous commenter and say that I enjoy the wide variety you ladies offer. As a fellow single young lady, it is always relevant and enjoyable, uplifting, or challenging to me. Keep it up!

lis November 20, 2008 at 6:17 PM

תדפתרו אותי בהגרלהת בבקשה

That's Hebrew for "Ladies, enter me in your drawing, please."

Or as close as I could come. :O)

I learned about your blog through YLCF. I'm older than most of the contributors, but find few posts about singleness that are as truly refreshing and encouraging as yours are...and at the same time, you manage to stay real!

Keep up the excellent work.

Ohh please enter me in the drawing!

I feel so much like calling you all "friends" though we've never met. I found your blog through YLCF, and have enjoyed it ever since. It's one of those that I check every day, looking for some encouragement. Thank you all so much for sharing from your struggles, joys, fun times, and special thoughts. The mix of moods and subjects is great. Thank you for introducing yourselves in recent posts. I love understanding more of the personalities behind the posts and seeing that we have many similarities as well as contrasting differences. Plus I discovered that I fit right in the middle of the age range. :) Please keep up the good work of encouragement... and if you'd enter me in the drawing, I'd appreciate that too.

Emily November 21, 2008 at 9:09 AM

I just realized that I didn't leave my name twice. So, here it is! :-)

AM November 21, 2008 at 9:48 AM

Please enter me in the drawing!

I'm a fairly new reader and still trying to catch up on reading everything, so I don't have any thoughts for the blog.

Laura November 21, 2008 at 10:50 AM

Ooo!!! How wonderful! Please enter me!

I love this blog - although I am a very bad commenter. tisk tisk. Bad me.

Sara November 21, 2008 at 6:09 PM

Please enter me into the drawing!

I love all the quotes and easy-to-digest snippets that you IDD-ers post (and your sense of humor!). Thank you for your realness! :)
